Da ormai pluriventennale appassionato di Hard Rock e Heavy Metal considero i Motley Crue una delle band del genere che nel bene o nel male bisogna conoscere.
Pur amando la loro musica, comunque, non ho mai provato tanta empatia per il loro stile di vita stradaiolo che trovo un tantinello ipocrita: facile fare il bullo tutto sesso, droga e rock and roll, quando hai le tasche piene di denaro a chili.
Detto questo, avendo letto questa notizia, non posso che esprimere solidarietà e ammirazione per il loro cantante Vince Neil, che dopo anni di stravizi (spesso costruiti ad arte per far parlare di sè) ha dimostrato coraggio e indipendenza di pensiero riguardo al problema della vendita libera delle armi negli Stati Uniti.

Being an Hard Rock and Heavy Metal fan since more than twenty years, I think that Motley Crue are one of the band that a fan has to know, for good and bad.
Otherwise, even if I love their music, I never was very empathic with their "street lifestyle" because I can't ignore its hypocrisy: it is very easy to act like a bully all for sex, drugs and rock and roll, when your pockets are full with tons of money.
That said, after reading these news I'm absolutely proud to express sympathy and admiration for Motley Crue's singer Vince Neil: after years of super vices (often built to increase his fame) Vince showed courage and indipendent thinkings about the problem of uncontrolled trade of weapons in U.S.A.
